Some moms have vibrant social lives, volunteer frequently, and/or have high powered careers, and it's easy to have plenty of adult stuff to talk about when that's the case. Other moms, by choice or by circumstance, only have time for their kids and have little or nothing outside of them, so there's not much they can talk about besides mom stuff. It's a bitter pill to swallow to think that you've become boring to the people around you.This needs more votes. They probably still try really hard to think of themselves as independent people who happen to have kids but also a thousand other interests. Then someone points out that no, they only talk about kids, nothing else, and it hurts them to know that.Yeah. What she did to OP was wrong and unfair and I hope that she realizes that and apologizes.
